My Momma Told me There'd be Days Like This

Ever have one of those days that leads you to seriously contemplating the following:

Going back to work
Selling your kids to the Hutterites
creating new profanities
Duct-taping a mouth or two
binge drinking
locking your kids in their rooms for the day
running away

Yeah, me neither.

Mmmm hmmm

One thing keeps me going on days like today

Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope: Because of the LORD's great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. Lamentations 3:21-23

I may fail in my compassion, but God doesn't.

That's a good thing.

A VERY good thing.

Your kids would have a great experience with the Hutterites-good food, interesting haircuts and no decisions about what to wear each morning!?!

Personally, I vote for running away, especially as you're staying at Nana and Papa's. Way cooler and they could take expectional care of Spud and Sprout. Just leave your credit cards at home because being low in parental energy dept can easily transfer into BINGE SHOPPING which becomes very scary about a month later.

Oh, my frazzled bloggy friend. You read my blog so you KNOW I can relate.

I think I like the binge drinking & running away ideas best! Or maybe just a night out would suffice so you could avoid a tangle with the authorities.

God's compassion is a GOOD THING at my house too. Hope tomorrow is better!
