The Long and Short of it.

My boys are just a wee bit different from each other. (Cough Cough.)
This is never better illustrated than at prayer time.

Sprout:
Dear Desus,
Tank-you food, corn, chicken, rice, milk, salad, lettuce, crunchies, yellow cuppie, oh yellow cuppie no, GREEN cuppie, chicken, mommy, daddy, AMEN. (Imagine a DEEP breath between each and EVERY comma.)

Spud:
DearJesusthankyouforthefoodAMEN. Eat now?

Seriously, I think it is so funny when they go on with their little prayers. Last time I just about got a case of the giggles.

This is cute! And I so know who the Tongginator identifies with... that would be the long-winded Sprout.

Love it. I think I'm going to start praying like that (the first prayer) just lists and lists and lists of little things to be thankful for. It might improve my attitude! :)

Tee hee. I am more of the Sprout kind of pray-er. :-)

It is so great that you give your boys the opportunity to pray in tune with their personalities rather than recite a prayer. I think I'm a Spud pray-er, especially at meal time.
