My weekend in a re-cap. QueenB, if you are still struggling with insomnia, this post should take care of that quickly.
-Garage sales. I was looking for some clothes for Spud. I don't know why I bother. Boys from 4-7 are clothes wrecking machines. There is NOTHING out there in that size range. And what is for sale, well, those people should be embarrassed at asking that price for a hole-y piece of fabric.
-M and M's BBQ. My kids had a bouncehouse to themselves. Their joy was complete. COMPLETE. And as always, I forgot my camera to record the moment forever.
- Out to Poppa and Nana's. My dad took the boys to Dollarama to buy me something. This is what they chose. I cannot tell you how much I LOVE these flowers. It is a perfect representation of their personalities right there in a vase.
-My niece's baby dedication. Can I just say again how cool it is to be living this close to family? I still have a hard time wrapping my mind around the fact that my baby brother is a dad, but it was awesome to celebrate with him and his new little family.
- A mother's day BBQ. Because really, Mother's Day would not be complete without forcing a three year old to eat a corndog.
- When he got home from work, Way Cooler made nachos and cheese and we chatted. Perfect.
How about you? Do anything fun?

Hmmm... I didn't make the M&M charity fundraiser... I was so exhausted from the charity fundraisers that I was involved in that the thought of their wonderful burgers wasn't even enough to tempt me away.
If this isn't boring enough for you, I took my air drying rack outside for my clothes to dry outside in the sunshine-letting them smell of outside (hopefully good) and having a green (eco and wallet) friendly moment.
I just spent time with my family. It was perfect.
Three kids, three cards, each kid giving me a gift as unique as they are. It doesn't get better.
Nothing could be better than the entire family home for the week-end. All going to church, sitting together and then out for lunch together after which we dropping kids and Dad's at home and the girls and I went shopping. It was a perfect day, oh and yes the cards and gifts were wonderful
Nope. Nothing fun whatsoever. The husband forced me to attend a Mother's Day brunch. Now a nap? A nap would have been fun!
Dollarama!!! It must be the vase, b/c those beautiful flowers went deeper into Poppa's pocket than the Dollar store.
Lucky you that i didn't take the pussywillows out of his garage as i was tempted to last wk. when i was packing up my car after visiting your parents.
Enjoy those flowers, you are one awesome mom and you deserve them!
I helped sort clothes for a big ol' multi-family fund raising yard sale this weekend. I love helping out cuz I get 1st choice of clothes. Boys 4-7? Almost NONE. Just a few cr*ppy tee-shirts that I'm not interested in. Bleh.
