Calling All Sherlocks

Last week I made myself some notes about ideas for Seven Quick Takes. Unfortunately, I was just getting a rather evil case of the flu and these are my notes.

Blogging

Cheap

Cheese

Yep. Those were the notes I made myself. Problem is, I have no idea what they mean. I wanted to talk about cheese? Really?

So, do you want to help me out? What do you think I wanted to say?

My evil cold is gone and I now have lots to tell you about. Including a Christmas concert, a really good sandwich, and maybe a weather report or two.

See you Monday.

Well... if you are like our family maybe you wanted to comment on how cheese consumption triples at Christmas time! No wonder we seem to be more broke than usual.

Perhaps...

You wanted to write a post about how your love of cheese interferes with your ability to blog coherently since your fingers are all greasy (yum...) and therefore you've become a proponent of cheap cheese because you want to eat it LESS providing more time to BLOG with clean fingers?

Or...

You had a quick take about a special cheese promotion that supports bloggers by offering free samples of Keyboard and Mouse (ha) shaped cheeses for giveaways?

Or Maybe...

You compared your blog to a lump of cheap cheese? Which I'd vehemently deny...I love your blog :)

Cheese, cheese, cheese, my favourite food. For Christmas last year my husband gave me Janice Beaton aged cheddar and it was the most romantic gift ever. That man knows what he is doing.

I don't know... I'm heading in a different direction here. Perhaps you were referencing the quality of your blogging - which is cheap and cheesy. Oh wait, that's MY blog. Heh.

This cheese thing is taking over your blog at the moment. But cheese (especially melted) can be a comfort food and if you were just getting sick maybe you were subconsciously seeking comfort.... you know, kinda like ahead of time. Well that's my lame reasoning. Looking forward to your bloggs now that you are healthy again. How was the conert?

Miles calls cheeses such as Kraft singles "fake cheese." Maybe you were going to write something about that.

Or maybe there was some great cheese on that "really good sandwich" of yours.

Those are my lame attempts at guessing (and joking)
