Public Service Announcement #8

Should you be plumber installing the plumbing in a new home, it is best to hook up a hot AND cold water line to the washing machine as opposed to TWO hot water lines.

Plus, it's a really good idea to promptly return the calls of the homeowner whose plumbing you muffed up.

Otherwise by the time you get to her house to fix it she might be up to her armpits in laundry and will send in her toddlers to "help you".

Definitely send spud and sprout to help. The plumber deserves their assistance, curiousity, energy and playfulness. But on the other hand, do you really want two lines of cold water coming into your washing machine? Sometimes fair is only a word and not a reality.

Spud and Sprout are so helpful... I'm sure that plumber will get his just desserts by them handing them the tools etc. etc.

Trace Adkins has a song about, "You're going to miss this" regarding similar situations but somehow I think that you'll miss the hugs and when they're cuddled up to you or sleeping at night... not chasing down a plumber with two active toddlers.
