Transportation Tips

Have you ever had to transport a lawn-mower in a mini-van? Well, if you ever do, let me remind you of a couple of things. They are really heavy. And on wheels. Whatever you do, DO NOT have the handle facing the back window.

Trust me.

Oh yes ma'am.

Umm... crud. Trying ever so hard not to laugh, but I am wincing at the same time, so that still makes me a good friend... right?

oooooo nooooooooooo! We had our station wagon broken into once and that same window was smashed. It cost exactly our deductible (and an entire day stuck in Syracuse NY) to replace :( :(

Yeah...and don't think it's a good idea to carry 8 foot lengths of lumber on the TOPS of your seats in a suburban. You could just miss a car accident and lose both your front and back windows due to the braking and backlash, thanks to said lumber.

My dad. Good thing he's good friends with his insurance agent. Just explaining that on the phone to a perfect stranger would be a little umm....difficult?

Hope yours is fixed soon and covered fully!

Girl, I'm so sorry but can thank you for the advice. That's something that would happen to me, too.
