We Interrupt the Happy for a Little Whine

Before I start this post, let me say, I am so grateful for the surgery. I am beyond thankful for good medicine and delighted that the growth was benign.

But I am getting rather tired of recovering. I have discovered this spring what an impatient person I am. The recovery is no exception. I would like to be done with it now.

I miss interacting with my kids the way I used to.

I want to be baking.

I'd like to be able to reach for things.

The state of my house is driving me batty.

I hate the way the kids can get on my last nerve so quickly.

I want my energy back.

I'm tired of how whiney I am.

I know it's temporary but it feels so long.

I can only imagine how someone with a serious illness feels. So, if this experience gives me a little more empathy, than maybe it is worth it.

Ugh, I can only imagine how you feel. I mean, yes, you are very lucky to be healthy, but being out of commission for so long sucks! Hopefully it won't be much longer!

just think! You will have all those things back plus lungs with no growths. The only thing lacking is, taking one day at a time, being thankful that you will be able to do all those things again.
Hang in there HG & keep others busy for awhile yet.
Don't worry

You know the rest

Yep. Sucky all right. Hang in there. You know this too shall pass, and you'll be doubly blessed by ridiculous things like sweeping the floor, or piggybacking your boys. Love you big, and prayers coming at you, just to hold you up a bit longer!!

I'm so sorry... it stinks to have to wait so long to resume normal life, especially when you feel "ready" to tackle real life. Hang in there, HG! I said a prayer for you just now. (And check out my FB page... there is a video of the Tongginator on there that is sure to make you laugh and hurt your incision site. Heh.)
